Wedding in Cabo: Get the perfect make-up for your photography?

Because you will look at your wedding album for the rest of your life, you want to look beautiful on each picture! But did you know that wedding photography requested more than regular pictures?

Our weddings experience in Los Cabos and photographers recommendations helped us to come up with some tips for your bridal party make-up and yours in particular:

For your face use sheer or neutral tones avoid shimmer. Shimmering shadows reflect on films and give you too dramatic results.
Use fresh and natural eye shadows and eyeliner... fashions change not your wedding album!
For black and white pictures, all make-up looking good in color will look good on your black and white pictures... and remember people around you will see you in color.
For lipsticks and glosses make sure you choose again some neutral and matte colors like pinks or nudes... Unfortunately high-gloss goes away very easily and fashion here also changes very often.
Choose carefully your make-up, indeed some of the oil-free foundations will bring too much shine on your skin and will give you a very pale look on pictures.
At Suzanne Morel Face & Body Care we recommend most of our brides to use false eye lashes to give them a more dramatic look by giving fulness to their eyes.

How to have a spectacular skin for your walk down the aisle?

At Suzanne Morel Face & Body Care you will find fantastic make-up artists who will create for you an unbelievable look, but remember we can do a great work but your skin needs to be prepared. Indeed, you have to make sure you book a consultation with your esthetician at least 6 months prior to your wedding, we would even recommend to the people who are used to have a very sensitive skin or issues to go earlier.

In fact skin treatments can need few months to give their first results. It is why this matter cannot wait! Like you schedule sending your invitations, you will have to schedule that appointment with your esthetician. Most of the time they will first want to get a general idea of your skin. Then they will recommend you the most appropriate treatment.

For the brides who do not have specific skin problems few cleansing and moisturizing facials prior to the wedding should work but once again your esthetician would know what works best for you.

Most of the times brides like a natural and glowing look but if the skin is not in perfect condition it can become difficult for your make-up artist to create that look.

Also avoid changing skin care products just before coming down to Los Cabos. Most of skins are used to some products and your skin could react poorly to any change (example: redness or even allergies). The best for you to avoid any beauty meltdown is to bring your own skin care products.

Will and I just had our wedding in Cabo and it was absolutely amazing! We got married at Cabo del Sol golf club (amazing) and had our rehearsal dinner at Sunset Da Mona Lisa (also amazing). I would strongly suggest both venues. I would not have been able to do any of it without Karla. She really was the one to put everything together and I would just tell her what I had in mind. The band was great (Deja Vu), Suzanne Morel (Hair), and the photographers (Alec and T) were out of this world (She suggested all my vendors). I suggest going with Alec and T, because everyone I have shown the pictures to say they are the best wedding pictures they have ever seen and I know it was because of Alec and T's style. Karla's price is very reasonable for everything she will do for you. She pulls everything together very quickly and makes spreadsheets for budget. Things that you will not want to be responsible for when you are bogged down with all the other wedding madness. [...]. We love her and her husband Jose and now they are like family."
